Rémy De La Peza (she/her) has over 15 years of experience as a community lawyer working on issues of land use, affordable housing, equitable community development and gentrification at the local, state, and national level. Prior to founding morena strategies - a collaborative community lawyering and consulting practice dedicated to catalyzing, amplifying, and fortifying the power within lower-income communities of color - she worked as a Staff Attorney at Public Counsel, Director of Planning & Policy Counsel at Little Tokyo Service Center, and Manager of Land Advisory Services at Auckland Council in Aotearoa New Zealand. She currently serves on the Board of Directors of Inclusive Action for the City, Las Fotos Project, and the Justice, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Alum Advisory Board at Mayfield Senior School.
