Paul Crawford

Paul belonged to CPR from 1993 to 2006, where he served as vice president for programs (1999) and president (2000) and long time web master. He offered wise counsel on many projects, including his masterful editing of our report on the Eastern Sierra, transforming a text with many authors into a coherent and handsome document.

Janet Fairbanks became a member of the California Planning Roundtable in 1988.   Always an activist planner, Janet helped people take on the hard issues of integrating economic vitality and ecological integrity.

Frank Wein

Frank’s reach covered a wide range of the planning endeavors from his professional and academic work over four decades in California to his vast contributions at both State and national levels, and to his strengthening and expansion of the Chapter’s fundraising efforts for student scholarships.

Stan Hoffman

The planning profession lost a dedicated and inspirational planner with the passing of Stan Hoffman in 2019. Stan had a distinguished planning career spanning over 35 years. He was highly respected by colleagues who had the honor and privilege of knowing him and receiving his unequivocal friendship and support. Friends know him for his love of the outdoors, and he was an avid hiker and backpacker throughout his life.

Larry was President of Mintier & Associates and a Project Advisor at Mintier Harnish. Larry was a Fellow of the American Institute of Certified Planners, an emeritus member and former president of the California Planning Roundtable, and a 12-year board member and former president of the California Planning Foundation.
