Kacey Lizon

Kacey Lizon is Deputy Executive Director of Programs for the Sacramento Area Council of Governments (SACOG). SACOG is the metropolitan planning organization for the six-county Sacramento region and serves as a convener on regional issues for SACOG’s 28 member cities and counties. Kacey oversees execution and integration of SACOG’s programs. During her 20+ years at SACOG, Kacey has played a leadership role in integrated regional planning and multi-party collaborative processes. This work has taken her deep into the topics of land use, housing, transportation, transit-oriented development, public engagement, environmental and rural planning. She is a member of the American Planning Association, California Planning Roundtable, and Urban Land Institute.
