Overcoming Obstacles to Infill
CPR’s “Infill Project” examines obstacles to infill development and how they can be overcome. This project provides a practical guide for the practicing planner, urban designer, local officials, and the general public -- as they seek to implement infill development. Guidance comes in the form of articles and other resources.
Articles by CPR members address a spectrum of issues such as: finance challenges, infrastructure demands, fiscal implications, opposition to infill, context appropriate design, and effective stakeholder engagement. To see members’ articles, visit our project overview or see the Publications menu above.
Resources made available by CPR include: links to concerned organizations, along with a compendium of articles by non-CPR experts on infill topics.
