Mark Rhoades, AICP
Mark founded Rhoades Planning Group in 2012 and has more than 30 years of experience as a public and private sector land use planner, developer, and development consultant. Mark works with private and non-profit clients to design, manage and entitle mixed-use development projects with thousands of affordable and market rate dwelling units in RPG’s consulting portfolio.
For the last decade Mark has been engaged at the state level with respect to housing and land use legislation with the California Planning Roundtable, CA YIMBY, and the State Department of Housing and Community Development. Mark’s understanding of local agency review, development needs, and the political decision-making environment allows him to be highly effective in the planning and development realms. This includes a deep understanding of California’s complex statutory environment and how it interacts with local agency processes and requirements.
